While Driving Cross-Country
- Pay attention to your gas gauge and the location of the next gas station, they don't always coincide especially when traveling in sparsely populated areas such as Nebraska and Wyoming.
- If you see someone pulled off to the side of the road and/or sitting there with a pair of binoculars or camera it is a good idea to stop and see if they have found anything interesting.
- Instead of putting up a sign that says Historic Site ahead, put what Historic Site is ahead. If I don't know why it is historic, I am not going to visit it.
